Common questions
How do I delete my account?
On the iOS app: Profile tab → Account Settings → Delete Account. Confirm by typing “DELETE.” All your data is removed immediately.
On the web: crowdnine.app/legal/delete-account.
How do I report or block someone in a voice room?
Tap the participant's avatar in the room. The action sheet shows Mute, Block, and Report User. Block prevents future matchmaking with that user. Reports go directly to our moderation team.
I can't hear anyone / no one can hear me
Check that microphone permission is enabled for Crowdnine in iOS Settings → Crowdnine. If the mute icon shows next to your name in the room, tap it to unmute. Restarting the app clears most audio routing issues.
How does stream sync work?
Different streams can be a few seconds out of sync with each other. Crowdnine's sync feature lines everyone up so the goal horn hits at the same time. When prompted, tap your phone the moment your game clock matches the target value shown on screen. We compute the offset and briefly pause your stream until the room is in sync.
Why is my room empty?
Rooms are scoped to live games. If you joined a game with low viewership or right when the game ended, you may be the first person there. Refreshing the games list and joining a different live game usually helps.
Why is my friend's invite link not working?
Friend invite links open in the Crowdnine app if you have it installed. If the app isn't installed, the link opens in your browser and shows the room preview. Make sure you're tapping the link from Messages, Mail, or another app, not pasting it into Safari (Universal Links don't fire on direct paste).
Which leagues are supported?
NHL, NBA, and WNBA at launch. We add new leagues as we go.
Is Crowdnine for kids?
Crowdnine is rated 13+. Voice rooms are unmoderated user conversations and may include adult sports talk. If you're a parent and your child should not have access, please use iOS Screen Time restrictions or delete the account.
Safety and abuse
We take user safety seriously. To report harassment, threats, or objectionable content, use the in-app Report User button on a participant's avatar, or email us at support@crowdnine.app. We respond to abuse reports within 24 hours and act on confirmed violations by suspending or removing accounts.
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Crowdnine is not a crisis service.
