Delete Your Account

Permanent account and data removal. Last updated: July 6, 2026.

To permanently delete your Crowdnine account and all associated data, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Crowdnine app and log in to your account.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

This action is immediate and irreversible. Once confirmed, your email, username, and associated data will be permanently removed from our systems, except for the limited records described below.

What gets deleted

  • Your account credentials (email, username, password)
  • Your profile photo and bio
  • Your follows, friends, friend requests, and friend codes
  • Your gameplay data (predictions, poll and minigame answers, points, streaks, and leaderboard standing)
  • Wishlist entries and room participation and sync data
  • Clips you created, including stored clip media
  • Private saved clip copies associated with your account
  • Push notification tokens and any extension state

What we may retain

For safety and to comply with our legal obligations, we may retain certain records after your account is deleted — such as reports, blocks, warnings, and other moderation and enforcement records, which can include a snapshot of the content that was reported. These are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.

Deleting specific data without deleting your account

You don't have to delete your entire account to remove specific data. For example, you can delete a clip you created at any time, which removes the stored clip media, while your account stays active.

If your host/co-host media is already in a clip someone else created, you can request removal: report a public clip in the app and choose the privacy reason, or email support@crowdnine.app. An upheld request deletes the clip and every saved copy of it, including stored media files.

To request removal of other data, email us at support@crowdnine.app and we will process the request.
