Delete Your Account

Permanent account and data removal. Last updated: September 3, 2026.

To permanently delete your Crowdnine account and all associated data, follow these steps:

1. In the app, tap your name in the top right. On the web, go to crowdnine.app/account and sign in.
2. Choose Delete account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm.

This action is immediate and irreversible. Once confirmed, your email, username, and associated data will be permanently removed from our systems, except for the limited records described below.

What gets deleted

• Your account credentials (email, username, password)
• Your puzzle results: every board you have played, your scores, streaks, and leaderboard standing
• Challenges you sent or accepted, and their results

What we may retain

The only thing you publish to other players is your username, so the only records we may keep are about that: if a username was reported to us and we renamed or removed the account over it, we may retain a record of the report and what we did, for safety and to comply with our legal obligations. These are kept only as long as needed for those purposes. If no one ever reported your username, there is nothing of this kind to keep.

Deleting specific data without deleting your account

You don't have to delete your entire account to remove specific data. Changing your username removes the old one from the leaderboard, and your account stays active.

To request removal of other data, email us at support@crowdnine.app and we will process the request.
